DAVANATTM Enhances the entry of 5-FU into the tumor cells and the antineoplastic effects of 5-FU while competing with 5-FU in the liver reducing the entry of 5-FU to liver cells. These modes of activities have been documented in a disposition study of 3H-DAVANATTM -1 in Both Tumor and Non-Tumor Bearing NCr-nu Mice.
